“Art Abounds” this Fall at the Mamaroneck Artists Guild with a group exhibition of two and three-dimensional works created by member artists. Works will go on exhibit beginning Tuesday, September 25, 2012 and continue through Saturday, October 20, 2012.

This multi-discipline exhibition will include works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, graphics, sculpture and photography. Awards of excellence will be presented to outstanding examples of these art forms.

Daly Flanagan, School Director of the Rockland Center for the Arts, will serve as juror for the awards. Ms. Flanagan holds a Master’s of Science degree in Education and Administration with a visual arts focus from Bank Street College of Education and Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor Fine Arts in painting and printmaking from San Diego State University. She has over 15 years of experience in art education and administration including positions as Director of the Craft Studies League/YWCA and Coordinator of School and Family Programs at the American Craft Museum.

A reception where the public can meet the artists and the awards will be presented will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Gallery Hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 12 noon – 5:00 p.m.
