Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 3rd Annual Women Artists International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For its 15th quarterly online art competition, Fusion Art, once again, celebrated women artists. The gallery invited both 2D and 3D women artists, only, to share their best art and photography depicting any subject matter and using any media. All women artists, over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit.

The Women Artists Best in Show winners are Cher Pruys for her acrylic, “The Artist”, Roxy McHaffey for her digital photo manipulation, “Into the Light Cave” and Diana Fernández for her bronze sculpture, “Bloom”. As the Best in Show winners, Cher, Roxy and Diana are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Kait Schoeb, Esther Burt and Ani Mollereau. Third Place awards were given to Natalia Ayas Bezuglova, Mariana Blinova and Jill Miyabara. Fourth Place awards were given to Yildiz Grodowski, Shelley Benjamin and Latana. Fifth Place awards were given to Lillianne Ruiz, Barbara Mierau-Klein and Cathy Engel-Marder.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are twenty-one Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Mitra N. Devon, Amy Jiang, Pauline Clay, Kathy Paulus, Lena Kibbler, Shraddha Singh, Sally Davis, Marcia Geiger and Virginia Gott.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Sylvia Bandyke, R. A. Smoller, Sarah Oremus, Sheri Emerson, Catherine LeComte and Maureen Osborne.

Honorable Mention in the 3-Dimensional category were given to K R Nariman, Carla Woody, Michele Bourdeau, Lollie Ortiz, Carole Hatcher and Marina Smelik.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Czech Republic, India, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Guatemala, Lithuania, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine and Ireland. Overall, the gallery judged 930 entries and accepted 266 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for 3 months starting on September 15, 2020.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
