For the 7th year in a row, Wesleyan Potters is offering the community a fun evening for the whole family. “Bowlapalooza” puts the fun back in fundraising and will be held Friday, May 30 from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are just $20 and every ticket entitles the holder to select a handcrafted piece of art from the “bowl or palooza”table to take home. Attendees at this event should come early to get the best selection.
Guests at Bowlapalooza are also treated to an evening of delicious food, drink, lively music as well as a silent auction. Back by popular demand, music will be provided by folk artist, Kent Aldrich and new this year, the Irish band, Ceol Go Maidin will get the crowd toe tapping and dancing.
This event is a way for Wesleyan Potters to give back to the community as well as let the community know of all the offerings at Wesleyan Potters. Community support for this event includes the donation of all the “bowls and paloozas,” created by some of the area’s finest craftsmen, and silent auction items donated by area businesses and restaurants.
All proceeds from this event help Wesleyan Potters maintain its facility and keep tuition as low as possible for kids and adults alike.
Wesleyan Potters is a craft school, offering adult instruction in pottery, basketry, weaving, jewelry and other crafts. Classes are offered to adults and youth in four semesters during the year – see our website for specifics.
A limited amount of tickets are available. They can be purchased prior to the event or reserved by calling or stopping by the Wesleyan Potters. This popular event is expected to be sold out.
