Our exhibition of Maksim Koloskov’s sketches, collectively titled “This is Houston,” comes to its end on June 16th.

The exhibit’s opening was a huge success, no doubt due to Maksim’s talent and personable, charismatic personality. The popularity of his sketches has endured after its opening, quickly becoming one of the most popular exhibitions ever hosted here at our Center.

By all accounts, people, quite frankly, enjoy his drawings. He depicts daily life in Houston, in all its peculiarities, through the lens of his own vastly original and unique style.

Anyone who could not attend the opening should not miss the chance to meet Maksim during our closing reception, where he will be ready to answer questions about his work (or simply converse!). The reception will be held on the evening of June 16th, right here in our gallery.
