Concurrently in the Ted & Gloria Maloof Gallery, Atlanta Photography Group presents Teri Darnell: Intense. Twelve years ago, Darnell began photographing one of the most diverse streets in Atlanta, Cheshire Bridge Road, and gained unique access to one of city’s red light districts. As her project evolved, she turned her focus to backstage and spotlight dramas. Darnell’s images are lush and vibrant records of these decisive moments. This show is in conjunction with the Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival. Opening reception is Thursday October 5 from 6-9pm.
