Jackson Clark, a leading authority on Navajo weaving, owner of Toh-Atin Gallery in Durango, and a long-time collaborator of Sorrel Sky, will give a free lecture on August 17 at 3 pm. “Threads Through Time; A History of the Navajo People and Weaving” will focus on the Native artisans who create these one-of-a-kind weavings, their motivations, and their designs.
