And in His last breath greatest grandfather revealed
His only secret, that He was assigned to reveal to just One,
in confidence, before His passing, so hope could live.

He told of the honorable
Royal creatures
and their secret travels,
as each autumn broke
to the hidden caves of kali fornia , where they wintered …

and many sought them,
but only their Reflections
were found,
and some were repulsed
by their look,
and others in awe
of their beauty,

and none of the seeking returned,
save He, to tell One

and it was thought that all who sought were extinguished,
but they were not He said –

with great hope of seeing,
the seekers stayed,
by their own free will …..
for the creatures favored
the ravaged,
and the fair,
and the creatures were filled with mischief and joy
