The Columbia Museum of Art presents Impressionism from Monet to Matisse.
This exhibition will include 55 works of art paintings, pastels and watercolors. Paintings by Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro and Alfred Sisley will be the highlight of this three month event. American Impressionist painter, Mary Cassatt and John Singer Sargent will also be include as well as several other significant artists.

Impressionists’ works of art are noted for their attention to light and space in a beautifully executed groups of composition, textured paint and color. At the time the Impressionist were radical in work and subject, transcending to timeless detailed paintings.
