NEW EXHIBITIONS AT THE PACIFIC ART LEAGUE OF PALO ALTO IN DECEMBER
Pacific Art League
Dec. 5, 2014, 05:30 pm
Opening Reception for all three shows, Friday, Dec 5, 5:30 – 8:00 PM
Exhibition Dates: December 5th – January 1st
Join us for a fun evening of art and celebration during the first Friday in December, from 5:30 – 8:00pm. PAL will be hosting three exhibitions; Winter Wonder, a juried exhibition curated by Lisa Ellsworth, curator at the Palo Alto Art Center, a special Small Works Exhibition & Raffle, and a solo exhibition featuring work by Isaias Sandoval. Free and open to the public. Enjoy refreshments, art, and try to win a piece off the wall!
Artists working in all media have donated small pieces of art measuring 10 inches or less, that will be available for people to try and win in a fundraising raffle. Raffle tickets are just $5 or buy five for $20. Find a piece of art you like, drop your raffle tickets in its box, and cross your fingers! There is no limit on the number of tickets you can enter. Spread your tickets around or stuff one box! Winners will be drawn and notified Dec 19th. (Remember, art makes a great holiday gift!) Bring your friends and family to this fun event and support a good cause. All proceeds go towards PAL’s art programing.
The Pacific Art League, founded in 1921, provides an environment for advancing the expression, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts. PAL offers art classes and workshops year round, and monthly gallery exhibitions. PAL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and welcomes support in the form of donations and volunteer hours.
