Naked in Jersey features art and photography by 15 talented artists selected specifically for their diversity of style and depiction of the human form. Opening Reception and honoring the gallery’s One Year Anniversary is on September 8, 2019 from 12 – 4 pm .

Historically, the human form has been revered as an object of beauty or covered and concealed as something to be ashamed of. Naked in Jersey, through the eyes of the artists, removes the trappings of clothing to unveil the essence of the soul. To allow the body to be seen it its nakedness is to show the soul of the individual in all its glory and complexity.

The inherent beauty of the human form with an emphasis on sensuality, power, and strength is explored with the work presented in Naked in Jersey.
