Q Artists Cooperative will feature the award-winning jewelry of Stevens Point silversmith, Joan North, on Friday, December 3rd from 10am to 5pm and Saturday, December 4th from 10am to 5pm at its downtown location, 1108 Main Street in Stevens Point.

Emerging from a sheltered time, North will show both new creations and some old favorites at this downtown location, including several new lines of square rings. The public is invited to meet the artist and enjoy creations that explore a variety of jewelry making processes.

Joan’s early jewelry education included workshops by internationally renowned instructors. Further study helped hone her skills and refine her own style that reflects upon life’s moments. Former Dean of the College of Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, she is now a full time, award- winning silversmith whose jewelry is shown at galleries, museums, and exhibits from coast to coast.
