This two day workshop will focus on dramatically communicating your own personalized concept and artistic message using a pencil application method. This method maximizes the full range of dark to light pencil values without the presence of that distracting graphite sheen. A few basic exercises will build your expertise, then you’ll begin a personal artwork of your own subject matter, design, and composition, and be able to confidently complete (at your own pace, in your own space) the drawing beyond the workshop hours. There’s such satisfaction in powerfully sharing your mind and heart with others through what your hands have drawn in simple pencil!
