Encaustic Painting II Intensive: Texture Galore!

Price: $135 with $35 material fee.
Learn to control encaustic paint and really make it work for you. After a brief intro on applying wax for a smooth finish, focus on ways to add texture and dimension to your work in a controlled way. Students learn to build up texture using dry brush technique, build up surface (accretion), fill crevices, scrape, Incise/carve, use of stencil, and more. Learn the use of textiles to add texture and dimension.
