Umpqua Valley in southern Oregon is rich in culture and the arts. Since 1979 the Umpqua Valley Arts Association has been involved in the culture and community of Roseburg, hosting the Annual Summer Arts Festival and other events.

The Umpqua Valley Arts Association, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to art education, art appreciation, service to artists and art organizations, and to the community. The Association is involved in the cultural development of Douglas County.

The facility offers six art gallery spaces, a workshop studio, a well stocked gift gallery, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, a full-sized pottery studio, and a new outdoor stage, in addition to staff offices.

Resident artists and festivals provide a endless opportunity for county residents and school groups with a variety of programs and activities provide understanding experience of the arts.
