June 1 – June 15, CRVA 7th Art Exhibit and Sale
Ten talented, award-winning artists, known as the “Connecticut River Valley Artists” will be holding their 7th Annual Art Exhibit and Sale at Piedmont Hall in Somers, CT. Join us for our opening reception on Sunday June 1st, from 1 – 4PM. Meet the artists and view or purchase works of art created in oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, silverpoint, watercolor, and photography. A selection of fine art prints will also be available for purchase. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. This year’s exhibit features “Artist at Work” on two Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM. Silverpoint Master, Doug Gillette will be showcased on the 5th and on the 12th, pastel painter, Lynn Wrona will be featured. The public is invited to watch the artists demonstrate, converse about their methods, techniques and share insights into their work and perspectives. This is a free event.
