Colorscape paintings by Diana Rogers are featured in the Color by Nature solo art exhibition hosted by the Essex Meadows Art Gallery in Essex, CT. The opening reception is on Friday, July 19 from 5pm – 6pm and includes refreshments.

Works in the exhibit explore the richness of nature’s palette. Rogers uses a color-forward approach to translate the landscape into expressive paintings. “Works in the exhibit celebrate the joy that color adds to our lives and tell the story of special places in nature in Connecticut,” said artist Diana Rogers.

The exhibit is on view from July 19 through September 15. Diana Rogers is a Connecticut-based artist who makes lively abstract paintings of New England’s diverse landscapes and waterways. She uses her visual voice to honor nature and the special places that need our protection in this time of climate change. The gallery is in the Essex Meadows community at 30 Bokum Road in Essex, CT.
