The work is by a diverse group of mid-career artists who utilize current modes of expression in a variety of contemporary media. The hanging intentionally emphasizes connections between representational and abstract work. Artists include: William Vollers, Kelly Leahy Radding, and Bryan Gorneau. Closing reception with gallery talk by Julia Pavone on Sunday, May 7 from 2-4 pm. Pavone was the co-founder and Curator/Director of the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art at the University of Connecticut’s Avery Point campus for 24 years. She is also an artist and instructor of art history.
