“It Must Nearly Be Finished” A Performance by Aaron Meyers In its sixth iteration of the infinite performance, Meyers will continuously drill 1/16″ holes into a five foot board mounted to the gallery wall until it breaks and he falls to the floor. It’s an enduring feat that can last anywhere from three to seven hours.

Artist Talk Wednesday, January 20, 11:30a.
Performance Thursday, January 21, 12 – 7:30p.
Reception Thursday, January 21, 5:30 – 7:30p.

Aaron Meyers uses raw materials such as wood and concrete to reveal a specific kind of practical beauty found in our everyday environment. Meyers’ large-scale installations are simultaneously architectural and labor-intensive, illustrating a bridge between sculpture and performance. On View in Montserrat Gallery January 11 – April 2, 2016.
