The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts will open its 18th annual “Members Show” on July 27 at 5 p.m. with a reception and awards ceremony. Works shown include member-submitted photographs in six categories.

All submitted work will be exhibited, and winners in each category will be selected by a panel of judges and announced at the reception. Reception attendees who submit a donation to the museum will vote on an overall best-in-show winner.

Category winners will receive a prize from one of the following sponsors: Busch Gardens, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, MOSI, Chipotle and Ron Giovannelli in recognition of the USF College of Engineering. All submissions will be shown in the community gallery until August 31.

“The ‘Members Show’ is a wonderful opportunity for the museum to connect with its members in a more personal way,” said Executive Director Zora Carrier, Ph.D. “We enjoy showcasing their creativity and appreciate the hard work they put into creating photographs for this show.”
