Submission Guidelines:

You may submit up to 3 works for consideration
Images must be in doc(x) or pdf format. Please put all three in one file titled: LastnameFirstname_Images
Please put artist statement, and bio in one document titled: LastnameFirstName_bio

CDAC splits all sales 70/30, with 70% going to the artist.
National and international artists are welcome to apply. As a non-profit we don’t have a shipping budget, so should an artist be selected they will have to cover the cost of shipping to and from the gallery.

Notifications will be sent via email by Feb. 22, 2020. Work must be delivered by March 11, 2020. Delivery information will be included in notification. Once again, we do not pay for shipping or return shipping.

About the Curators:

Asia Hamilton: Native Detroiter, Asia Hamilton, is an accomplished photographer who has shot everyone from Lil Wayne to the girl next door. She is the owner and creator of Nozomi Live design and  curator of Norwest Gallery of Art in Detroit.

Donna Jackson:  For the past 18 years, Donna has dedicated her skills as a designer and project manager to develop marketing and promotional materials for urban libraries and non-profits. She is founder of DMJStudio and consults non-profits in brand identity development.
