Who was your first crush? When you were younger, what did you want to do for a living?
What was your teenage dream?

Artists have a lot in common with teenagers. We can be awkward and unable to communicate our thoughts clearly, but man – we can dream and create like nobody’s business. Like teenagers, artists have lots of ideas: weather those ideas become failures or game changers, they define who we become. treat gallery new york is seeking artists who have been dreaming for awhile. We want two pieces from you, that will be hung side by side at the exhibition.

1. one piece created in the year of or before 2012. (“Work #1)
2. one piece created in the year of 2016 or 2017. (“Work #2)

There is no theme for this show – tell us how your early series of art influenced (or didn’t!) your recent series of art, and anything else you’d like to share in the form. Work can be as old as you – (finger paintings, anyone?) as long as you are the one who created it.

Please apply by filling out the form linked on our website.

For “teenage dream”, 30% of all sales will give hope to refugee families in Syria, and will be donated to Mercy Corps. You can make a difference for Syrian families and other people in crisis around the world.
