Call for entries for the exhibit “SHOUT!’ which will take place at ARC Gallery and Educational Foundation in Chicago in late July 2017 Here is the address of the prospectus: https://arcgallery.wufoo.com/forms/shout/

ARC is looking for visual artists (2-D, sculptural, video or performance) who wish to join a chorus of passionate voices speaking out on current issues which affect them directly or about which they have a particular opinion. ARC seeks out a diversity of art and artists, recognizing that in the awareness of our intersectionality, we can better acknowledge and celebrate the differences among us. ARC does not discriminate by gender, race, religion, sexuality, age or political party. All applications are welcome. The juror will choose entries on the basis of their artistic merit and expressivity. Jurors will also choose three juror-awards, each of which comes with a monetary prize.

This call for entries will be juried by performance artist, educator and scholar PATRICIA NGUYEN who has performed at the NHA SAN collective in Vietnam, the Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco, Links Hall, Oberlin College, Northwestern University, University of Massachusetts Boston, Prague Quadrennial, and Museum of Memory and Human Rights in Chile.
Patricia has worked in the United States, Vietnam, Brazil, and the Philippines with over 15 years experience working in arts education, community development, and human rights.logo
