REQUIREMENTS:
Images: 4 images of which one is your booth and  we are suggesting a donated piece of your art @ $25-40 value for a prize in lieu of a jury fee.

Registration fee before June 1:
– $60 non members (includes one-year Savage Arts Council membership valued at $20)

– $55 for members

Additional details:
• Artists applying for the event after July 31, 2015 may not be listed in the print materials but will be assigned to a location that has other listed artists.
• We accept checks, money orders, Visa and MasterCard. Returned checks and credit cards for insufficient funds will be charged a $40 fee, after which only cashier checks will be accepted.

• August 1st, 2015 all fees are due.

THE EVENT:
The Savage Arts Council is pleased to present the sixth annual Scott County Art Crawl on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10AM – 4PM. The Art Crawl is located in Savage MN at three locations with more than 30 artist booths displaying and selling original paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass art and much more.  Artists in Scott County who have a studio will be included on the Crawl print materials. Artists are invited to a post-show wine reception. This is an indoor show so weather will not be an issue. Booths are limited to 10′ x 10′. Additional 10′ x 10′ space is available @ $40 ea. White grids are available for rent @$25 for a complete set. Artists can check-in at The Savage Arts and Cultural Center, which is located through the east door of the Savage Public Library, Savage, MN from 1-4PM Friday October 9th. During this check-in, you can drop off your donated piece, pick up your booth location, artist bingo stickers, maps, and other information for a successful Crawl. Be ready to sell by 10AM Saturday. If you are showing out of your studio, check-in will be Friday 1-4PM at the The Savage Arts and Cultural Center, which is located through the east door of the Savage Public Library, Savage, MN. You will get a confirming email about check-in details.
ARTIST QUALIFICATIONS:
Fine art and fine craft artists featuring original handmade artwork
• Artists living and/or working in Scott County will have priority for the Scott County Art Crawl.
• Artists outside of Scott County will be accepted based on space availability.
• Artwork should demonstrate the artist’s ability to create one-of-a kind artwork that art buyers cannot find elsewhere.
• The Scott County Art Crawl committee reserves the right to decline acceptance of any artwork it deems unsuitable for this event and fees refunded. We suggest this might be a good holiday market.
APPLICATION:
To be included on the crawl map artist application deadline is 12PM, Tuesday, June 30th, 2015. Applications received after this may not appear in print materials. No applications will be accepted after 12PM, July 31, 2015.
ARTIST REQUIREMENTS:
Artists must register for this event online at Café www.CallForEntry.org.
• Each of the 4 artwork images submitted should feature individual pieces that accurately represent the body of work to be exhibited. One of the images will be selected for the art crawl marketing materials and social media.
• Artists must be in attendance at their booth do their own displays, set-up, tear-down, artwork sales and sales tax collection and reporting.
• Artists are encouraged to promote the Art Crawl to customers and prospects with promotional materials emailed to you after application is accepted.
FOR THE ARTIST
Water delivered to your booth. Easy load and unload access. No tent needed. Post show wine reception and artist networking. Promotion on Savage Arts Council Facebook and web pages. Promotional materials for email or download provided to artist to use to publish the event to thier clients. Local Scott County print ads from Savage Arts Council. Youtube video link of the Crawl for your social media. Easy load and unload access to exhibition space.
IMAGES:
Images will be used to help identify if the artwork aligns with the Scott County Art Crawl artist call. The event will be promoted as a fine art and fine craft event, and the jury process will ensure the artwork meets this criteria. One of your images will be selected for the Scott County Art Crawl map, social media and marketing materials. Images are required to be in the following format:
• File Format: JPEG at 72 ppi resolution
• Dimensions: 1920 pixels on the longest side
• File Size: Less than 2MB

KNOW THE RULES:
All work must be original, handcrafted work. Artist guarantees the accuracy of the description of the works presented and that work is a creation of their own hands.
• All work must be designed and executed by the exhibiting artist.
• Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. The Scott County Art Crawl, Savage Arts Council, host sponsors and any representatives and volunteers for this event are not responsible for loss or damage.
• Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for collection and reporting of sales tax. Savage, MN sales tax is  .6875%

• Artists who register on a  “first come first serve” basis for the ELC have a $15 upcharge because of demand for that space.

LOGISTICS:
Acceptance email will have promotional materials. Artist check-in is at Savage library, Friday October 9th 1-4PM and Saturday, October 10th from 8-9:30AM. Be ready to sell by 10:00AM.
• Artists will be responsible for bringing their own display equipment. There are white grids to rent for $25 per booth for Friday October 9th pick-up.
After your booth is packed up we will meet at the ELC for wine, networking and a buffet. This is sponsored in part by the city of Savage.
