Art JuXtapose Gallery presents the thematic exhibition: Quilted Images. The exhibition will be held at Art JuXtapose Gallery from October 1st to October 30th, 2019. This exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept of quilted works. All media and interpretations of the theme “Quilted Images” will be reviewed and considered.

This theme incorporates artwork that is inspired by quilts. Quilted arts is where art meets traditional quilt making. This call covers a variety of fiber arts and mixed-media techniques — from sewing, surface design to hand-and machine-stitching, including non-traditional quilts, and wall hangings. For this exhibit submit quilted work that is rich in art and design concepts for quilts, including fabric collage, quilting with alternative fabrics, and mixed media.

Please submit artwork to [email protected] or [email protected]. Artwork can be no bigger than 36” x 36”. Art JuXtapose Gallery does not take a commission from sold pieces. ​The deadline for submission is September 10th. The fee is $30 for four pieces, additional pieces $5 each.
