Open Call for Work: Exhibition “Boxes: Lost in Circulation”

We are now accepting an application for an upcoming exhibition of Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts (FCCA)* in New York.

Exhibition is from November 7th to 14th and will runs for 11 days with more than 50 art works of national and international artists. We would like to redraw boundaries between art and everyday life to render new experience in our surroundings.

The art works will be displayed in an unacquainted environment with a set of rules, which will invoke audiences’ imaginations to recreate the process of validating art. It will be an interactive discourse on the current art scenes and an intriguing experience for both participating artists and audiences.

If you are an artist, working in NY, with an attitude to take risks and creative mind to perceive things differently, please submit your CV, website and 5 work samples (JPEG, no more than 10MB together) to [email protected].

Once selected, you will receive details and guidelines of the show. The selected artists’ works in this exhibition will have not restrictions regarding theme or medium but restrictions regarding weight and size.

Deadline: Aug 31 (Late Deadline: Sep 15)
