Zygote Local AIR 2020 Open Call / Local Artist in Residence

Each spring Zygote welcomes an artist to participate in our Local AIR (artist in residence) program. These artists are non-printmakers with an established art career and body of work. The goal of the residency is to expose other artists in the community to print and teach these artists how to translate their current work in to a specific print technique. Applicants for the Local AIR should be a mid-career or an established artist located in the vicinity of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Criteria: a mid-career or an established non printmaking artist
Residency: May – Sept. 2020
Solo Exhibition: Sept. 2020
Stipend: $500
Print for Zygote Archive: leave one print create during the residency
Shop Orientation / Instruction: 20 hours
