As the Center for Contemporary Printmaking enters its 20th year, we reflect on our history and the full life of our founder, Grace Shanley. We also think of those mentors like Grace, who have nurtured us along the way. We are pleased to invite our members to submit artwork to the Annual Members’ exhibition, KINDRED.

KINDRED is an exploration of family and the varied ways that we define it. Submitted works of art might deal with the complicated networks of dependence and support, identity and history, shared experience and unconditional love embedded in those relationships. This exhibition will explore how family experiences have influenced our lives and how we, at the same time, resist, reject or embrace it to build anew.

ELIGIBILITY: Only original fine art monotypes, monoprints, and edition prints are eligible. Traditional printmaking mediums such as woodcut, intaglio, lithography, and silkscreen are eligible, as are digital prints. Drawings, photographs, and direct reproductions of drawings and paintings are not eligible. All prints must be signed in pencil by the artist. Paper size may not exceed 30 x 22 inches (full sheet). Prints must have been created since January 1, 2013, and must not have been previously exhibited at CCP. Each member may submit one original print. All prints must be for sale.
