About the 2020 Fiber Arts Competition
Fiber arts practice is often rooted in place. From the fiber used to the inspiration given, the land around us produces both material and artistic vision. Land-based practices, livestock, plants, and the human hand come together to create textiles ranging from knitted garments to artistic tapestries.

For the 2020 Flag Wool & Fiber Festival Fiber Arts Competition, From the Land, we ask you to examine how the land around you influences your fiber arts practice. Whether you are influenced by local fiber or draw artistic vision from your environment, we want to see how the influence of land informs your work.

Full details, including rules, regulations, awards, exhibit information, and how to enter can be found at www.flagwool.com/fiber-arts-competition.
