MIAMI ART WEEK EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY

Miami Art Week is an entire week of art & cultural events springing up around Art Basel’s Miami edition. ABRA Gallery has, over its 16-year history, an outstanding track record with multiple appearances at Miami Art Week’s premiere shows. After acquiring an exciting range of new artists, we are searching for additional artists to include as part of our planned exhibition this year. We will be exhibiting at one of the main art fairs in Wynwood held at a high-end convention center, along with 50+ top galleries from around the world showcasing works from over 300 contemporary artists and attracting over 38,000 visitors.

In ONE pdf document, submit:
Up to 5 images of either representative works or actual works you hope to have selected for exhibition, with size, medium, and suggested retail prices. Artists working in all mediums, both 2D and 3D, are welcome. 
Your artist statement – up to 500 words
Your CV/Resumé

Send all submissions to [email protected] with the subject line “Miami Art Week Submission 2018”. The deadline for submissions is midnight, August 31, 2018 and priority will be given to applicants who submit prior to August 15.

Exhibition details
ABRA Gallery will provide:
International visa invitation if needed 
Curation and museum-style installation of entire exhibition Promotion per artist via social media and other digital marketing 
24-hour Security
Photography
Tags/labels for all displayed artworks 
Packaging and shipping of work to purchasers (paid by customer) 
Insurance for all artworks included in the exhibition 
Sales staff (10% of sale price will be retained as commission) 
Processing of all sales (3% credit card fee will be retained if applicable)

Artist must provide:
Artwork ready to hang (ABRA Gallery can provide framing and stretching for additional fees)
Delivery of artwork to our warehouse in North Miami Beach, Florida, USA, by November 1, 2018.
Pick-up or shipping of unsold artwork from our warehouse by December 14, 2018.

Selection Process & Notification:
All submitted works will be considered by ABRA Gallery’s owner and director. All artists who submit work for consideration will be notified of the gallery’s decision by September 15, 2018. Submitted work will also be considered for future shows at ABRA Gallery and international exhibitions.

Exhibition Fee:
If you are selected, the cost to participate is $2,700 USD per 10 linear feet of wall space.
