Capitol Hill Arts Workshop is proud to announce the open call for their Darkroom Residency for Winter 2019. This residency provides an opportunity for an artist to execute a new body of work, evolve an existing body of work, or develop a project in the CHAW Darkroom and Photographic Facilities. The residency offers three months of time and space to an artist or team of artists to experiment and realize new work and includes a $200 stipend for supplies not provided by the facilities. The residency culminates in an exhibition in the CHAW Main Floor Gallery in March 2020.

The open call will close August 31st and residents will be announced September 20th. Artists working in all media are welcome to apply, but we require proposed projects to emphasize photography.
