Connecticut Women Artists announce their dates for 2017 National Open Juried Exhibition to be held September 1st – September 29th, 2017 at the Vernon Arts Center East in Vernon, CT.

The Juror of Selection and Awards will be Nancy Stula, Executive Director of the William Benton Museum of Art, UConn, Storrs, CT.
You need not be a member to submit work to this show. A commission of 20% will be taken by the Vernon Arts Center East on sales. CWA has arranged for this year’s show (2017) to take place at the Vernon Arts Center East. However, the Vernon Arts Center East has no storage space and no capacity for receiving artworks. Artwork may be hand delivered or shipped……

IMPORTANT DATES:
Entry deadline: Friday, July 30, 2017 until Midnight.

SELECTION: After Thursday, August 10.
Drop off of artwork: Saturday, Aug 26, and Sunday, Aug 27,
1:00 – 3:30 pm.

Shipped artwork: Work must arrive between August 22-23.
Pickup of artwork: Saturday, Sep 30, and Sunday, Oct 1,
1:00 – 3:30 pm. P.U. is mandatory. Gallery has no storage area.
Opening Reception & Award Ceremony: Saturday, Sep 10, 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
