Arizona Plein Air Painters (APAP) is thrilled to announce the call for entry for their upcoming member juried exhibition, “Cityscape & Landscape.” This exciting exhibition aims to showcase the beauty of Arizona from city streets to rugged trails, exploring the captivating intersection of the state’s timeless natural landscape and the dynamic, ever-changing cityscapes of Phoenix, as well as other cities and towns throughout the state.

A panel of jurors has been assembled, including Anton Nowels, Casey Cheuvront, and Paul Steele, will evaluate the submissions and make the final selection. Furthermore, Gretchen Lopez will preside as the judge of awards, bringing an additional layer of expertise to the exhibition.

Artists are invited to submit their plein air artworks. The exhibition will take place at the mood room, operated by ArtLink.

Selected artworks will be showcased at the mood room from August 17th to September 14th, 2023, offering artists a platform to share their creations with art enthusiasts and potential buyers. The exhibition will culminate in an opening reception on Thursday, August 17th, 2023, 6-9PM, where the awards for exceptional artworks will be announced.

APAP encourages artists to carefully review the submission guidelines and ensure their artworks align with the exhibition theme. Eligible mediums include Acrylic, Ink, Gouache, Oil, Pastels, Wax, Watercolor, or Mixed Media.
