The Torpedo Factory Art Center invites artists to apply to Beyond the Frame: A Contemporary Exploration of Mixed Media Photography which will be on view in Target Gallery in winter of 2023. The goal for this exhibition is to highlight how artists are experimenting with what photography is capable of beyond its traditional framed presentation on the wall. Artwork examples may include but are not limited to: collage, mixed media painting, mixed media sculpture, installation, photography with augmented reality, VR, or video, as long as photography is utilized in the finished work.
