BJ Space 519 is honored to announce Beholding the Invisible, ByungJin Kim’s 2nd Solo Exhibition. One of the units which cut each alphabet he uses, the combination of the letters “, “O,” “V,” “E” is the most basic and significant part of his artwork. The word “LOVE” repeated hundreds and thousands of times, and the complete finished culture is hanging on the wall. The work deconstructs the subject of appreciation and allows the subject to experience infinitely drifting in a distorted space derived from the alphabets. The viewer not only detects the appearance of ‘LOVE’ but also encounters entwinement of the visible. The invisible when she or he notices a volume of the work underlined by its shade in front of an empty wall.
