“Beautiful & Powerful Statements…” is an international art exhibit featuring both calligraphy and art from re-purposed materials. Both the beautiful written word of calligraphy and the powerful statement made by art salvaged from older objects have messages for their viewers.

We are especially interested in calligraphy that is not only visually lovely, but whose words are powerful and/or uplifting, and have expanded the concept of calligraphy to include any work in which TEXT is a major element.

And while art from re-purposed materials often makes a strong statement, our interest is also to incorporate work that is visually appealing.
