Fusion Art invites submissions for its first annual charity art exhibition: Art for Animals.

This is NOT an online art exhibition. Fusion Art has partnered with the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, SNIP, The Living Desert, Animal Samaritans, and the Humane Society of the Desert to host a charity art exhibition during the month of December 2016. All our partners in this art exhibition for charity are nonprofit organizations that are committed to the humane treatment of all animals and the preservation of life through no-kill philosophies.

For this competition artists and photographers are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of Animals, both domestic and wild. The artwork can include any animals that live on land, in the sea or in the air and can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.

Although the proceeds from this competition and exhibition will be donated to local Coachella Valley animal charities and foundations, all artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit.

Twelve winners will be chosen and their artwork will be featured in the Palm Springs gallery during the month of December 2016. Additional artwork may be selected for inclusion in the exhibition based on gallery space. ALL artwork MUST must be for sale and the gallery will take a 50% commission on all sales.

Proceeds from the competition’s entry fees and the gallery’s proceeds from the sale of any artwork in the exhibition will be donated to the charities. In addition, a charity calendar will be produced with each of the twelve winners being featured in one month of the calendar. By entering the competition the artists and photographers are consenting to have their artwork used in the charity calendar.

• Must be 18 years or older to enter.
• Work must be the original creation of the artist
• Artwork that has been entered into previous Fusion Art online juried art competitions MAY be entered into this competition, even if they previously won awards.
