Fusion Art invites submissions for its 2nd Annual Colorful Abstractions online juried art exhibition.

For this competition artists and photographers worldwide are encouraged to share their artistic interpretation of the “Colorful Abstractions” theme by submitting their best nonobjective or nonrepresentational art. Abstraction is defined as “freedom from representational qualities in art.” Abstract art is art that “does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures.” Black and white are colors that qualify for the Colorful Abstractions theme. All artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit.

All competitions include awards in two categories – “Traditional” Art and ” Photography & Digital” Art and the Best in Show winners in each category will be invited to participate in the 2nd annual group show in Palm Springs in November 2017.

Eligibility
Open to artists worldwide.
Must be 18 years or older to enter.

Awards
Cash awards will be given to the top three winners in each category.
The Best in Show winner in each category will be the “Featured Artists” on the website for the duration of the exhibition. The Best in Show winners will also qualify for participation in Fusion Art’s annual show in Palm Springs, CA in November 2016.
