2016 – 2017 Cape Girardeau Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit

The City of Cape Girardeau Public Art Committee is now accepting submissions from qualified sculptors to participate in the 2016 Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition. Several locations along the Broadway Corridor in Downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri have been selected for public sculpture and yield high visibility with both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The exhibition is open to all applicants 18 and older. All entries must be original work and of safe design and construction. Acceptable entries may be existing works, completed prior to the submission, or detailed sculpture proposals. James K. Johnson will jury entries along with a committee of local artists, city, and business professionals from the Cape Girardeau area.
