Call for Entries: “Transformation” Art of All Mediums exhibition. Deadline is April 1, 2015, with small entry fee.

About: For over 30 years, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center has demonstrated its commitment to artists working in the fields of book arts, printmaking, and papermaking. Located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, Pyramid Atlantic leads and inspires the community through artistic excellence and community engagement. Now, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, in association with PLAZA Artist Materials, invites artists to enter the upcoming exhibition,“Transformation” Art of All Mediums. Selected works will be on exhibit in the Second Floor Gallery of Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, May 1, 2015 – May 31, 2015.

This exhibition gives every artist the opportunity to interpret “transformation” as they wish. Submitted artwork could refer to a transformation of the artist through the creation of the piece, the transformation of simple materials into a work of art, or general themes of change and re-creation. Art of all mediums will be considered.
