The IN-IL Small Drawing Competition is one of three high school student art competitions sponsored by the Purdue Department of Art and Design during fall 2014

The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries are now accepting submissions for the IN-IL High School Small Drawing Competition at Purdue University. Drawings must be on paper. All drawing media are eligible. Your drawing must fit in a 10″ x 13″ mailing envelope and meet USPS flat mail standards. Accepted work will be presented in the Rueff Galleries online gallery, and award-winning work will be exhibited from December 8 – 19, 2014, in the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries, Pao Hall. A public reception honoring the award winners and all participants will take place on Friday, December 12th, 6-8 pm, in the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries, Pao Hall, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
To enter, submit up to three drawings by USPS in a 10″ x 13″ envelope. Include a 10″ x 13″ self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of your drawing(s). Every effort will be made to return your work in the same condition as it was received. Purdue University and the Department of Art and Design cannot be responsible for lost or damaged artwork. Work submitted without a self-addressed, stamped envelope will not be returned.

ELIGIBILITY
High school students (grades 9 – 12) in Indiana and Illinois are eligible to enter.

One prize-winning work per grade level, $100
One grand prize, $200
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Entires must be received by Monday, November 17, 2014

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notification of acceptance will be announced on the Rueff Galleries’ website by Wednesday, November 26, 2014
