SUBMISSION PROCESS
Submit your artwork electronically at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Format images in TIFF, BMP, JPG, or PNG, no less than 800 pixels long. A tutorial on how to submit is available on the How OJS Works page.
ENTRY FEE
Members: $25 for 2 entries, $10 for each additional entry. Non-members: $35 for 2 entries, $15 for each additional entry.
SELECTION NOTIFICATION
Friday, October 24th, 2014 by email. Award winners are announced at First Friday, November 7th event.
EXHIBITION GUIDELINES
• Open to all artists in the Pacific region
• All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Pacific Art League.
• All 2D work must be framed or on gallery-wrapped canvas with finished edges. All 2D work must be ready to hang on a wire
• All work must be for sale. Members receive 70% commission. Non-members receive 60%.
• Size of work limited to 40” wide by 50” tall, including frame.
• All work must be labeled on the front and back with artist’s name, title, medium, size and price.
ABOUT THE JUROR
Gail Wight is an Associate Professor of Art at Stanford University, specializing in experimental media and the intersection of art and science. She holds an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute where she was a Javits Fellow, and a BFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media at Massachusetts College of Art. She has an extensive international exhibition record, with over a dozen solo exhibits throughout North America and Great Britain, and her work has been collected by numerous institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Among her many artist residencies are western Australia’s Symbiotica, Art & Archaeology at Stonehenge, the Rockefeller Foundation in Bellagio, and San Francisco’s Exploratorium. Her work is represented by Patricia Sweetow Gallery in San Francisco.
