Imagine the world turned inside out. This was the challenge fine art photographer Tom Peterson set for himself, the results of which are on view at City Gallery from Thursday, March 5 – Sunday, March 29. “The City Gallery exhibit pieces represent a poetic voyage into a world of strong dramatic skies and bold colored buildings,” explains Peterson. “Each photograph represents an escape from the everyday into the stillness of an imagined other world.”

Peterson is a documentary and fine art photographer. He has received numerous award, including winning two First Honors at IMAGES, the Shoreline Arts Alliance juried photography show. His 2019 exhibits included Cheshire Academy, New Haven Lawn Club, and City Gallery, where he has been a member since 2009.
