DEADLINE EXTENDED to JANUARY 31st, 2020! We invite proposals from community-driven creatives in ALL disciplines (visual arts, film/media, creative writing, theatre, dance, music, etc.) from anywhere in the US to apply for a 2-6 week social practice artist residency at Kennedy Heights Arts Center in Spring, 2021. In particular, we seek artists and projects that meaningfully engage diverse community members in the creative process. The Artist-in-Residence will be provided housing at no cost, an artist stipend of $850 per week of residency duration, and a materials budget of up to $1,500 to execute the project.
Artist will have access to free studio space and the Kennedy Heights Arts Center’s facilities and grounds; and active support from the Arts Center’s staff and network of artists, volunteers, community members and enthusiasts. Funding for our 2021 Community Artist-in-Residence is provided by grants from the Eleanora C. U. Alms Trust, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee; and Ohio Arts Council. Applications for a 2021 Residency are due by midnight, January 31, 2020.
