“Celebrating 70 Years of Creativity”
Wesleyan Potters’ Annual Exhibit and Sale
Friday November 23 through Sunday December 9, 2018
Opening Reception Friday November 23, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Wesleyan Potters welcomes the holiday season with its Annual Exhibit and Sale, “Celebrating 70 Years of Creativity.” One of the oldest juried craft shows in New England, the sale attracts over 250 artist vendors, both local and from across the country, assuring a wide selection of unique one-of-a-kind items. At the Opening Reception on Friday, November 23rd, guests are invited to shop and meet the artists, and enjoy complimentary food, drink, and entertainment from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday Café Nights are November 30th and December 7th, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

The Annual Sale is known for its assortment of styles and materials, offering a variety of gifts for under $10—ornaments, ceramic buttons, condiment dishes, and more. At higher price points, choose from handmade wooden furniture, ceramic lamps, a wide array of casserole dishes, hand woven dish towels, and wooden cutting boards. Take the chill off winter with a selection of hats, mittens and scarves that are hand woven, felted, hand-painted silk, and knitted and in assorted fibers. Hand-worked bangles, earrings, and necklaces are perfect for any jewelry lover.

“Celebrating 70 Years of Creativity,” pays tribute to the group of Wesleyan University faculty spouses who, in 1948, came together for pottery classes at the university. Their foresight and tenacity grew into what has become today’s Wesleyan Potters.

Free parking in the Wesleyan Potters parking lot can be accessed behind 350 S. Main St. on Birdsey Avenue.
