Versos Sencillos features the work of Kristie Chua, Ariana Faye Allensworth, Monique Islam, Connie Jang, and Lauren Oliver.

The selection of images is guided by the theme of home. Throughout each image the idea of home, takes shape as an object, space, place, or person. For each individual artist, home is located in a different and unique place physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Whether it’s physically in East Los Angeles, Sinaloa, San Francisco, San Jose, or Puerto Rico, each is a place called home. Versos Sencillos seeks to explore the complexity of what home is.
