In 2018, Valley Art Center begins a three-year series of exhibits exploring concepts of identity through three different themes: People, Places and Things. Our first exhibit will focus on “PEOPLE.” 2D and 3D artists from the Chagrin Valley to around the world are invited to submit their work exploring the theme through representations of people. Artists are encouraged to explore the concept of Identity as it pertains to people as individuals, or as a group. Artists may interpret the concept of identity in their own terms and may approach this call through any media and style.
