The Gail Wade Trio presents what has become an annual end-of-the-year concert event at the Marlborough Arts Center on Friday evening, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. Drawing from the deep roots of folk, bluegrass and classic country music, the Gail Wade Trio presents an eclectic blend of both traditional and original acoustic music. A strong guitarist and song writer with a rich soulful voice, Wade has been performing both solo and with her own band in the US and abroad for the past 30 years. Her early folk influences bring a warmth and depth to her songwriting, engulfing the listener in the deep emotion of everyday life experiences. The gifted multi-instrumentalist, Tim St Jean brings his incredible mandolin, banjo and vocals. As a much sought after musical virtuoso, St Jean is a familiar face on the stages of New England’s premier music festivals. Acoustic bass player, Joe DeLillo, rounds out the trio with his stunning tenor voice and musicianship.

The Marlborough Arts Center is at 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, CT and is housed in an historic building with great acoustics that also is fully accessible and has ample parking. The admission for this concert is $20 per person at the door. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Details about the Marlborough Arts Center, a non-profit regional center for the arts completely run by volunteers, can be found at www.marlborougharts.org.
