Because I Wanted to Go Home
Janet Passehl will speak about the development of her cloth works and drawings, and how her vision has been influenced and enabled by the so-called Minimalist movement, particularly the work of Sol LeWitt, Carl Andre, and Agnes Martin. She will link her practice to works of literature, old master paintings, her long-time job as Curator of the LeWitt Collection, and her personal conversation with the intangible as accessed through her chosen materials.
