The first in Lyme Art Association’s Elected Artist Summer Demo Series is Sarah Stifler Lucas. Saturday, May 20th 1-3pm at Lyme Art Association Gallery, 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT. Exit 70 off of I95. Free and open to the public.

Sarah will demonstrate how she works from photo reference to create human drama. She usually has people in her evocative paintings, but even when there is not a person in the painting, there is the inference of a person, having been there, or due to arrive. She creates a sense of place, and the human experience, in her oil paintings.

August 12th, 1-3 pm. Hollis Dunlap will demonstrate a limited palette in oils.
