Although most cultures today have a limited vocabulary for comprehending love, the enlightened philosophers of ancient Greece observed eight various terms for affection. A wealth of knowledge developed to describe each one. With this profound understanding, a broad spectrum of thought could be drawn upon when forming relationships. Knowledge is power, and many naïve lovers of today become blinded under an opaque blanket of undue emotion. The 8 LOVES of ancient Greek philosophy remains a school of thought that teaches the conscious-mind to understand the passions of the heart, fueling a self-awareness to better maintain enduring love.
